Last August 19 2017 we went to Trinoma just to look for a computer table and acai mixed berry yogurt at Starbucks when I remember there is a newly opened Korean makeup store there I watched Say Tioco at Say Tioco Channel video vlog about it and we still have time so I asked my hubby if ever we can drop by I'm a Korean and Japanese Makeup and skin care Lover ~

Around 3^rd floor (I think. I forgot what floor) near Youtube Lounge Landmark and Elizabeth Arden I saw their branch here in the Philippines. As we go near the place the only thing I want to buy that time is Clio kill cover and the only budget In my mind is 1,000 pesos below haha.

As we enter we are greeted by this beautiful Korean lady (and I really thought she is a Korean but she speaks Tagalog). 

She come near us and accompany us like a tour guide inside the store.

She asked what things I need I told her what I want and she introduce me the product, asked me if I’m acidic, checked my skin tone and we did a little swatching at the back of my hand. She says that #2 suits me the best even though my shade is #3 because foundations and concealers oxidizes if ever your'e acidic and which I am so Clio kill cover add to cart! Haha

I look around for a moment “walang bad vibes sa shop” staffs are so friendly with the smile on their faces super on-hand sa customers nila. They also know what are the pros and cons each of the items they are selling and super natuwa ako sa ganung set up. I don't want to compare but we all know if ever we asked for a certain item some sales lady don't know what to answer what are the benefits and if ever it suited on you but at CLUB CLIO no rooms for "wait lang po itatanong ko lang sa kasama ko"

My hubby whispered something to me that made me realize this is a blog worthy and Miss Julie Ann Buentiempo Velasco the one who accompany me that time needs a recognition  dahil sa sales talk niya yung P1,000  na budget ko naging P3,000😆

That time I was wearing my Tony Moly Tony Tint Delight which is already faded because we drink something at Starbucks  and My Etude House Any Cushion Cream Filter which is Its not matte finish so my oil is too obvious lalo na I don't set it with a powder. I also don't bother plucking or doing anything to my eyebrows since its already bushy. When my hubby told me this I need pictures for my blog!

Back to the shop i didn't know that time they have 30% off which is i bought 3 peripera cushions 1 kill cover concealer 1 peri's ink velvet and a translucent powder for only P2,920 when I was picking some products I thought it reached P4,000 already! luckily I went when they are on sale and I hope in my next visit naka SALE sila ulit para maraming item na mabibili in affordable price 😉

As of now im collecting P10,000 worth of receipt so I can avail their VIP Card or if you pay a visit on them and you bought P5,000 worth of item in single receipt you can have your VIP CARD already.

TONY MOLY FACE MIX PRIMER COLOR CUSHION

I got this baby when I ordered althea box romantic date box one of the eight items in this box is Tony Moly Face Mix Primer and the shade I got is lavender.

Packaging 

It comes with a simple color lavender box where  can’t read what is written on the back because it is in Korean while on the left side it indicates the direction, caution and distributed by.

Shades Available

The available shade in the Romantic Date box is Lavender but I saw in the website it has three shades one is green and the other one is yellow

First Impression

I love how it is so sleek and easy to bring. The packaging looks like a cushion foundation but much smaller it comes with the sponge like a normal cushion and the color of the sponge is also lavender. The compact is lightweight and it is made of plastic. I notice there is no grams or how much item in the product and I also notice I noticed that it also has SPF 50+ PA+++. According to Althea’s website Lavender base is best suited to Asian People and because it is a color correcting cushion Lavender or purple can hide yellowish pigments on our faces and it can cover freckles and trouble spots.

Coverage Test

While applying this baby it has this lavender color which turns white after toning down makes my face all white! All the imperfection and discoloration on my face are not visible anymore. It gave me this dewy finish but I really don’t like my face to be white as dead. I wait for a couple of minutes if ever it will matches my skin tone but it didn’t happen. I applied my Etude house cushion to tone down the color but it doesn’t work lastly I applied a pressed powder darker than my skin tone but it also doesn’t work. My face was so white that time and I think bronzer can’t help me with this.

Lasting ability

It did last long on my skin no movements no slipping but as I can see after couple of hours my face was still white. I think it is much better for people with white complexion (Korean skin to be exact haha).

Ratings

After using it when I did my review I don’t think I’ll ever use it again after my husband told me I look like Kayako from the Grudge (I’m a big fan of Kayako though). If ill gave my rating its 2 out of 5. This have so many pros but its cons made me thumbs down on this one. 

Will I use it again? No. I will stick in my regular colorless primer and a color correcting concealer. Did I applied it wrong? Maybe yes maybe no. Tried it? Comment down below and share your experience!

QUICK FX NO SHINE MATTIFIER

This item is around the market for so long. I been using it for almost 3 years now and glad that they have new packaging now and it has 30 grams of product on it. We are all familiar sa QUICKFX NO SHINE MATTIFIER in Sachet, from 50 pesos below to 99 pesos 😆 and I think only available in WATSONS.

This is actually a moisturizer that absorbs oil to control shine and make your skin smooth with a velvety feeling, it is matte finish and conceal fine lines and pores. Its Actives as the packaging says are Salicylic Acid which is normally good for oily skin and can help you with your acne.
Chamomile which I think where its scent come from but whenever I'm applying this one it smells like "skyflakes" a local biscuit here in Philippines.
Teatree extract or tea tree oil which is used for skin infection and acne and Mattewax. On the label you can use it under make up (what I'm always doing) and to use it over-makeup (never tried)

I love using this item because it lessen the oil in my T-ZONE when applied and also lessen the produce of oil for 2-3 hours. Im a dry combination skin type oily on my nose and forehead area and super dry on my cheek area. Ang dami ko ng natry na primers sa market for my oily TZONE some works pero hindi maganda sa dry areas of my face meron naman  na hindi talaga kaya so ang nangyayari bumabalik at bumabalik talaga ako sa pagbili ng QUICK FX.

When applied my face becomes smooth and meron syang velvety feeling looking at the mirror my face looks fresh parang bagong powder lang yung mukha ko. Its light even maraming layers pa ang gawin ko. Unang apply palang you will see that it really lessen the oiliness on your face nacocover nya yung pores ko and nalelessen yung fine lines na nagbubuild na sa mukha ko (sign of aging haha) lalo na pag ginamit mo siya under makeup ang ganda ng canvass mo pag naglagay ka na ng foundation its smooth pantay na pantay and mas madaling nabblend yung foundation the sponge or brush just glide sa face ko,

Whenever I'm in our house I applied this after my morning skin care routine kaya yung sachet 2-3 weeks lang sakin. I heared sa iba kong kaibigan na nag break out sila after to iapply some of them are like my skin type pero this one works for me very well.

I seen many aloe vera gel in green tub all over the market now a days i tried and tested most of them but the one who really stands out and gave me nice results are the AVG from Nature Republic and Bench Organics

My mom has aloe vera plant in her garden she uses it to keep her hair black, shiny and long.

Shampoos and other hair care products contains aloe vera and back then if i saw aloe vera plant its just for HAIR.

Last year end months of 2016 before i started my YouTube channel my ex-boyfriend now husband 😌

bought me a gel from Nature Republic, He knew I love korean beauty product but that time i just stock it up and i feel i don't need it. A week after we went to TRINOMA go to my usual shopping when we passed by bench and saw a woman hoarding Bench Organics aloe vera gel. My ex-boyfriend now husband asked me if I used it already and i said no after that he introduces me GOOGLE hahahaha! and after that i said ok. lets give it a try.

After 7 months of using the item here is MY TOP 10 BENEFITS OF ALOE VERA GEL.

Aloe Vera Gel is a water based plant and some calls in a miracle plant because she can do almost anything. Its natural and full of benefits and it is a great choice for sensitive skin like mine.

1. SUNBURN TREATMENT- as i make my YT video about aloe vera gel its around summer and the temperature is so hot just an hour without protection can give you sunburn. AVG has inflammatory fighting powers and helps you reduce swelling and redness. 
2. MOISTURIZING- Some moisturizers moisturize our skin but it also can make you oily right? AVG can moisturize you without that oily and sticky feeling. I know I tried it 💓
3. FACE MASK- I love Facemask/ Sheetmask and instead of buying and buying and buying mask! I invest into aloe vera gel tubs. I just put enough amount on my face and leave it for 20-30 minutes 
4. ACNE/LITTLE BUMPS-My Skin is not an acne prone but I do have little bumps. Its well known for the girls out there and using aloe vera for acne breakouts can reduce the acne and little bumps. It has a natural fighting properties and also contain salicylic acid to heal acne and breakouts
5. CHICKEN / PATCHY SKIN- The only oily part of my face and body is my T-Zone so most of the parts are dry and when its cold my skin becomes patchy dead skin everywhere its like im exfoliating and when its summer my skin becomes dull and looks like a chicken skin. Instead of using lotions i used Aloe Vera Gel to moisturize my skin 2x a day after bath and before i sleep to lessen my skin problems
6. SOOTHING- Feel hot specially in summer season? Every time i go to bed and can't sleep because of the heat i used rubbing alcohol to lessen the heat but it makes my skin super dry so instead of using alcohol I use the gel for cooling sensation.
7. HAIR CONDITIONER- I include this one but I never tried this. I just knew it works because this is my mom's hair routine. It will make your hair grow faster and healthy.
8. SHAVING GEL- I have PCOS or Policystic Ovary Syndrome which is one of the symptoms is your having too much hair in certain areas of your body. I shave a lot and im using shaving gel which is very costly. So instead of buying shaving gel i used this as alternate its transparent it can moisturize your skin and at the same time its organic 
9. MOSQUITO BITES- Mosquitos loves to bite how I wish they just suck my fat instead of my blood. Put Aloe Vera Gel in the area where its bitten you it will reduce itching and swelling.
10. SKIN CARE ITEM- I love SKIN CARE and I got tons and tons of skin care products . If you are too lazy to do a skin care routine or dont have enough money to buy skin care products invest in aloe vera gels in tubs with affordable price and full of benefits what can you ask for?

IT IS TRULY A MUST TRY ITEM.

I recommend Nature Republic aloe vera gel if your don't have BENCH stores in your areas or country.

CUSHION REVIEW: Beauty Wise C.C Cushion

BEAUTY WISE CC CUSHION WITH SPF 50+/PA+++

I got this baby in one of our customers. They are one of distributors of lotions, rejuvenating set and creams around the Metro and now they add makeup to their lines and one of the items is the BW CC Cushion with PF 50+/ PA +++. An all-in-one compact cushion w/ 2 shades and also contains whitening, moisturizing and vitamins.

Packaging

Box

The packaging of this cushion is so plain, a white box with silver lettering's (logo). At the back of the box is the How to Use, Caution and contact number, the other side is the Ingredients and other side is the claims.

Product

Like the box the product itself is also white with silver lettering the puff of this cushion is brown normally its blue and it’s much softer than others.

AVAILABLE SHADES

They only have two shades the #Light and #Natural the one I got is the #LIGHT even though its lighter two tone than my original skin tone no worries because it oxidizes. I think it’s around #20-#21 in Korean cushions. 

COST

I bought this for P500 only because we are like business related but I think the retail price of this is around P800-900

CONSISTENCY AND SMELL

So the consistency of the item is a so-so not that thick not that thin but what it bothers me is not like other puff the product or the cream in its sponge in Filipino term “TINIPID”. I need to press the puff many times so I can get the amount I want. The smell of this is quite good smell like flowers and not chemical

TEST

So like I guess the light shade is too light for me but I’ll wait if it will oxidize on my skin. I have an oily T-zone and Dry cheeks and sometimes foundations I put in my skin tends to get grayish because I’m acidic.

BLEND-ABILITY

The item is blend-able but I’m having difficulties to apply this especially on the side of my nose and under my eyes

COVERAGE TEST

The coverage of the BW C.C cushion is remarkable. It has a high coverage and it completely hide my red veins in my cheeks, my dark circles and the redness on both side of my nose.  Bye-bye concealers!

Im sorry for the dirty puff after 3 months of using it.

PROS

• ·       It can whitens your skin instantly
• ·       I can wear this for my favorite no make-up, make-up look
• ·       It can make your skin dewy for fresh look
• ·       Because of the high coverage of this item you don’t need any concealers it can cover all your blemishes!!
• ·       It contains SPF 50+/PA+++ for sun protection
• ·       Easy to bring because of the size
• ·       I can leave with only this without any foundation and concealers. Less Items in my make-up bag! (I still  need a pressed powder though…)

CONS

·       I hate the puff of this baby. I think if there are some improvement on the puff the item is superb because of it super soft I don’t know but I think it only absorbed the items.

·       Like I said para siyang TINIPID. Even you press hard you can’t get the amount of items I want.

·       After 1 month of using it I need a refill!

·       The puffs color is white and brown, the items stick to it and even I wash it many times it’s no use

·       And because I’m obsessed with the packaging, After 1 week of unboxing the name of the brand fades and I hate it.

RATINGS

After using this for 3 months already, 1 out of 10 I gave it a 8. Why? All the claims are ohhh sooo true! But because im a cushion enthusiast I just don’t like the puff (1 point deducted) and next time I hope they put more products in the Sponge/Filter for longer use (deducted 1 point).

LUCKILY! They have a refill half of the price of the cushion. So for a cushion worth P500 this item is worth your money!

after 1-2 weeks the name of the items already gone =(

I got this cushion last January in one of my college friend whose into NWORLD a networking? (not sure) company selling health and beauty item and most of their items are effective (daw). This is the first product of them that I tried because all of the items they sell is oh so expensive!
all products they sell are manufactured in Korea. It contains 15 grams of product it cost P1,700.00 but i got this for free (ahem.. )

Claims

While doing this blog i dont know where i put the box so instead i ask my "dadi ed" (not actual dad haha) he is th eone who works in that company and give me the item so its claims as he said were

Testing

First time i used Nlighten CC Cushion was when We are on our honeymoon last January. The sun feels hot but the wind is chilly, no AirCon available in the rest house and I'm filming my review in the garden area and it scares me what if it melt on my skin because of sweat and i have to film it all over again luckily the winds saves me and its already 4pm.

I pressed the puff in the sponge and the amount that got in the puff is so small so i repeat it again.
I tap the item on my face and it feels like I didn't put anything it feels so light weight and the coverage is medium to high. The consistency is so creamy and doesn't feel sticky at all.

Coverage Test

The coverage is medium to high it can cover my dark circles, red veins and the redness on both side of my nose. It goes well even without concealer.

Blend-ability

I find it hard to Blend this baby specially below my eyes and the side of my nose but other than those part everything is ok.

Longevity

The cushion if forever! I dont know why no claims if its waterproof or not but when i dip into the beach or even at the pool my eye shadow fades but this baby stays.

So if ill gave my rating 1 out of 10 ill gave this one a 10 even thought its expensive. Why? like I said i used this last January when we are in our honeymoon and for 1 week i used this item from Nueva Ecija to Zoobic Safari to Subic Olongapo for the beach to Pandi Bulacan for another pool experience to Manila Ocean park this one saves my face on sunburns my body tans but my face stay exactly my color and i knew its because of this. Check my honeymoon vlogs if you want proof (commercial haha). Its super lightweight and i love the no makeup makeup look so a big thumbs up for me!

 Like what I said in my YouTube video I got this mascara  around November 2016 accidentally, I wanted my makeup to be simple yet stunning  because I have a date with my boyfriend now my husband so I just wear a powder, lip tint, liquid eyeliner and mascara? And yes! I don’t have any mascara that time and while he’s just on the way I look for a drugstore inside Trinoma.

Saw Bench Bath and remember I need to buy my favorite shower cream, I went inside and do what I need to do. The sales lady which I forgot the name ask me if I want to try there cosmetics and I asked if they have mascara she said yes and gave me this baby! My local HOLY GRAIL as in! This baby saves me many time and this will be and forever will be my all-time favorite mascara.

Enough with the intro and let’s do the review …

Packaging

The packaging of this one is so simple just the tube with the applicator plain white with pink print of the name and the brand and that’s it! Don’t have any claims so I think it just a mascara that can be wear for a long time without smudging.

Testing

Don’t Judge the book by i'ts cover as they said and what I feel when I first applied this item. Back at Trinoma’s Comfort room I grab this baby and the magic starts! My lashes are thin and short but when I used this it gives me the volume I want it lengthen my lashes and even I layered it didn’t clamp.

Longevity

This baby stays until you wanted its super long lasting that it want to stay there forever, I can’t remove it just by pinching my lashes ( I usually do this when some of the items becomes dry and fall into my eyes). 

Didn’t remove by wet wipes or oil cleanser so washed my face 2 times and applied a cream cleanser it remove on my lashes but when I woke up there is still black color under my eyes ( the unwashed items left on my lashes) .

I used this when we are in our honeymoon. Pool or Beach it stays in your lashes and did I tell you when you curl your lashes and applied this its stays upwards for almost a day without curling again your lashes? I didn’t? Now you know.

What more can I say?

The cons I have in this baby is just because I need to put a cons in this review. For P160 below (I forgot the specific price) you will get the same benefits you can only get in high end or expensive mascaras. So one out of ten I’ll give this a perfect ten! What more can I ask for? I used this many times in my videos and make up tutorials and I’m not kidding or making things up this mascara is my holy grail.
